TFS/Agile Workshop
This 2-day comprehensive TFS/Agile Workshop will give attendees a working knowledge of Agile project management (particularly Scrum) and the recommended management and engineering practices that should be used by agile teams. Attendees will also learn how Team Foundation Server and Team System can help teams implement those practices. The workshop is intended to be very interactive and attendees are encouraged to ask questions from their current situations so they can then apply the knowledge they gain back in the workplace.
Course Prerequisites
As development practices are discussed, attendees should have some prior knowledge of coding in .NET. It is not mandatory, however will definitely assist.
Target Audience
The course is targeted primarily at technical staff wanting to improve the efficiency of the development process within their organisation. This typically includes team leaders and technical managers, however developers will also find great value in the workshop and may even gain a better understanding of what their managers need to do to successfully deliver projects.
Course Outcomes
By the end of the workshop attendees should have a much better understanding of the various aspects of agile development practices and how these practices can be applied to their situations. Attendees will not become experts in the agile field, however will have a foundation and body of knowledge on which to build.
