Record Results for Readify in FY09
Monday, 31 August 2009
With the weight of the global financial crisis taking a toll on many businesses during the course of 2008 and 2009, we are very pleased to report that Readify has continued to grow strongly during these turbulent and uncertain times. We attribute our ongoing success and growth directly to our long standing relationship with Microsoft and our successful expansion into new markets.
We are thrilled to report that Readify finished the 2009 financial year posting a record high quarter and our revenue has shown a consistent increase of 20% year or year.
“It’s very exciting to report is that our business continues to boom as organisations increase demand for quality outcomes from their software development projects. It reinforces with us that we have our model right” says CEO, Graeme Strange.
To cater for this strong demand, Readify has been actively hiring, and as always, is focused on employing the very best application development specialists both within Australia and worldwide.
Readify will remain committed to our core business and existing Microsoft service lines and ensure we continue to deliver great results to our customers, however during the 2010 financial year, Readify will expand its business into the Adelaide market with local sales and consulting representation.
Readify is also set to launch a groundbreaking new project capability in response to customer demand for high performance teams. This offering will be led by our new CTO, Mitch Denny.
“It's hard not to be involved with software projects in this industry. At its very core, IT is about providing solutions to improve productivity and create new opportunities for business. Through our engagements with customers, we have identified a gap in the project delivery space where we feel Readify has something unique to offer.
Specifically, we are going to market with a high performance project team offering made up of the same experts that deliver consulting engagements today, but are engaged much earlier to avoid unnecessary risks in software projects. We are combining this with our ALM expertise to deliver an agile software delivery capability for our customers where failure isn’t an option”.
